WayBlonde, a.k.a Joanne Weil Heald, is a vocalist/
rhythm guitarist from the San Francisco Bay
Area. A singer most of her life and a rhythm
guitarist for over 20 years, Joanne's intent is to
draw the audience into the spirit and soulfulness
of her style and her repertoire.

"There’s calmness about folk music that delivers a sort of straight up comfort. I try to create this feeling with not only the songs I choose to sing but also the way in which I deliver them to the listener’s ear. A balance of firm but gentle rhythm mixed with melodies from my voice and the acoustic instruments that accompany me. All set in place by that good old string bass. I attempt to invite the listener to come into my music, relax and feel good. It’s a sound folks seem to relate to and connect with which is exactly the point."
